Apple iPhone 12 Could Launch a 5.4-inch Model
In the last few months, many leaks were reported on the upcoming Apple iPhone 12 series. Every year, Apple launches its new iPhone in September. This year doubts prevailed whether the launch will happen on time. However, a recent leak tipped that the event will be on September 8. However, Apple has not confirmed the event yet.
According to a report analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo tweeted on Twitter that Apple will release four iPhones in three different sizes. A new iPhone in 5.4-inch, a 6.7-inch iPhone, and two 6.1-inch models. Apple Watch Series 6 will also be launching on the same date. The 5.7-inch variant will be smaller than iPhone 11 Pro while the 6.7-inch variant will be bigger than the iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Apple products such as Apple AR Glass Ar glasses, Apple iPad Pro, and the new MacBook with macOS Big Sur and Apple chipset will be launched in another event, that will be held on October 27.
The launch may face some delay as Apple stopped sending its chief engineerings to China in February. This delayed the engineering validation of the product, and the testing stage will is causing a delay in production.
New Design
The new iPhone 12 over undergo a complete revamp of the design. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, we can see a slightly larger camera lens, thicker antenna lines, a lower positioned power button, and a smart connector along with a lighting port on the iPhone 12.
Leaked iPhone 12 suggests that the notch will come 1/3 smaller than the notch in iPhone 11. The notch will home proximity sensor, an infrared camera, a flood illuminator, a front camera sensor, an ambient light sensor, and a dot projector.

The base variant of the iPhone 12 will feature a 5.4-inch BOE OLED Super Retina Display. The device will come with a 4GB RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256GB. The body of the phone is expected to be made of aluminum along with A14 chip and dual cameras at the back.

Both the mobile will have 6GB RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
Battery speculations
The new iPhone12 series will come with Apple’s newly certified batteries. The 2,227 mAh battery, 3,687 mAh battery, and a 2,815 mAh battery. Though the new battery capabilities are less than the present generation batteries, the updated processors on the upcoming models, the battery life would be the same.
Few leaks related to the new iPhone tipped that the iPhones box will not feature a bundled charger and wired Apple Earpods. This move is mainly to reduce the cost of the mobile and company also in plans to focus on reducing the e-waste.
People who have a charger at their homes can use it to charge the new iPhone12 variants. Thus, reducing the overproduction of chargers for new boxes. The company might be in plans to launch a new USB-C 20W power adapter as an option for those who want to buy a new charger.
