Tesla has seen a huge rise in its stock value and the company’s production has also increased during the year 2020. The stock has surged 695 percent in 2020 increasing the company’s valuation to $630 billion and became one of the most valuable companies in the world. During the holiday season, Tesla makers introduced a new host of features.

One of the features included in the list of updates is the new option in a Tesla car to customise its horn sound. The sounds that the owner of the car can upload include goat noises, meme references, and even his own fart sound. They can upload their own sounds via USB devices.

“Change your horn sound too ?, ??, ? or holiday jingles with the latest Tesla software update!” Tesla CEO Elon Musk wrote in a December 26 tweet.

When a user on Twitter asked Elon Musk, “When will cars without the pedestrian speaker be receiving the update?” he replied, “Unfortunately, the pedestrian speaker is needed, otherwise no external sound generator except the actual horn”.

Car owners who bought the optional pedestrian speakers will have the option to use fart sound at nearby pedestrians. A driver while driving or waiting at a green signal cannot use this feature, but the feature can only be used when the car is parked. Drivers can use this feature while the car is parked as it is a fun feature.

Back in 2019, Elon tested the option on Twitter where he wrote “ Customized horn & movement sounds (coconuts being one, of course) coming to Teslas soon”. However, Tesla owners use the “Toilet Humor” mode available in features to play pranks on the passengers by playing fart noises that emit from all corners of the car.

According to the official document of the features, the car can be used as a boombox and entertain the crowd by playing media when parked. Meanwhile, Ford’s VP commented on electric car makers pointing out the quality suggests he meant Tesla cars in an interview with Autoblog.

“The doors fit properly, the plastics and other materials color-match, the bumpers don’t fall off, the roof doesn’t come off when you wash it, the door handles don’t get stuck in cold weather,” Palmer in the interview.

In 2020, while the whole world was facing a hard time due to coronavirus crises, Tesla has surprised everyone by earning $104m in the three months up to 30 June.  When the lockdowns were implemented the output was on hold but it hit just 5 percent of the profit compared to 2019.

The company has kept a target of selling 50,000 cars in the year. “We have the capacity installed to exceed 500,000 vehicle deliveries this year, despite recent production interruptions,” the company said. “While achieving this goal has become more difficult, delivering half a million vehicles in 2020 remains our target.”

Tesla’s share price also increased from $430 to more than $705. The increasing share price of the company placed Elon Musk in the World’s top 10 richest people, according to popular US-based billionaire ranking websites both Forbes and Bloomberg.
