After PUBG Mobile was banned in India in August 2020, mobile gamers have eagerly been waiting for its return. Earlier in May, Krafton confirmed that it’s going to soon launch a new mobile game in India – Battlegrounds Mobile India.
Well, they may call it that, but we all know, that’s still going to be the fight for the chicken dinner!
Last month, Krafton opened pre-registrations for the mobile game on Google Play Store, however, a date of launch was yet to be announced.
While we still wait for the final date, the developers have now dropped a hint saying, “it’s almost time”.
Some reports suggest that the mobile game would release on 18 June.
Krafton says that Battlegrounds Mobile India has been developed keeping in mind the Indian users, and it will only be available for Android users in the country. The developers also revealed that the mobile game will include various in-game events and features that will cater to the Indian audience.
A recent teaser also revealed two maps, Erangel and the 4×4 Sanhok, which will likely be a part of the mobile game.
Additionally, Krafton says it also will be organising esports tournaments in the country.
